OSCAR WILDE The selfish giant POWYS A Christmas present among other things
HUMPERDINCK evening blessing from "Hansel and Gretel" MOZART Overture to "The Magic Flute" KV 620 PUCCINI "Che gelida manina" from "La Bohème" BACH Prelude from: Suite No. 2 for trombone solo BWV 1008 and chorales by BACH and Christmas-Carols
The second Sunday of Advent at Ulrichshusen Castle ends musically and literarily. The young trombonist and ARD competition winner Michael Buchanan was so enthusiastic in the 2017 summer festival that he was honored with the MV Festival audience award. With his musical friends, all outstanding talents of the trombone scene, he forms the trombone quartet Studio 5. The English ensemble now comes to Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and presents works by Humperdinck, Mozart, Pucchini as well as chorales by Bach and Christmas-Carols. With Oscar Wilde's "The Selfish Giant", the actor and audio book interpreter Clemens von Ramin provides the appropriate literary addition.
